Dismantling a ring of counterfeiting red books and press cards that look 'real'
The Ministry of Public Security determined that this ring forged many important documents such as real estate, driver's licenses, vehicle registration plates, press cards and various degrees.
Information from the Criminal Police Department, Ministry of Public Security said that they have just coordinated with the Southern Institute of Criminal Science, Ho Chi Minh City Police and Dong Nai Provincial Police to destroy a large-scale fake document ring.

Specifically, after half a year of investigation and monitoring, on the evening of August 25, the forces coordinated to raid and search 7 locations in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, arresting a total of 20 people related to the above-mentioned network.
At the locations, the police seized a large amount of machinery, equipment and fake documents of all kinds.

The finished counterfeit documents are said to look like the real thing, making them difficult to detect with the naked eye. They constantly change locations to avoid detection.
