During the period from mid-December 2020 to the end of January 2021, through the work of grasping the situation, Yen Thanh District Police discovered a retail firecracker ring from Quynh Luu to the district, so they established a special project to fight and clarify.

After a period of active investigation and verification, the Special Task Force determined that Nguyen Huu Dinh (born in 1979), residing in Hamlet 6, Tan Son Commune, Quynh Luu District, was the leader.fireworks trading lineOn January 29, 2021, the Investigation Committee received information that Dinh had purchased a large quantity of fireworks in Quynh Luu district and would sell them to Phan Duc Quang (born in 1976), residing in Van Son hamlet, Van Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, so they decided to organize an arrest.
At 5:45 a.m. the same day, the Investigation Committee caught Quang red-handed for illegally storing fireworks and seized 5 cakes of 49 fireworks.
During the investigation, Phan Duc Quang confessed that he had ordered 42 fireworks from Nguyen Huu Dinh and Dinh had delivered them to Quang. Then, at 10:00 a.m., the Task Force arrested Nguyen Huu Dinh for trading in prohibited goods and seized 33 fireworks of 49 pieces each. During a search of Dinh's residence, the authorities seized 2 more fireworks of the same type.
At the police station, Dinh confessed that at 6:00 a.m. on January 29, he transported 42 fireworks from Quynh Luu district to Yen Thanh district to sell to customers who had made prior arrangements.
Based on Dinh's testimony, Yen Thanh District Police ordered a search of Nguyen Tho Duc's residence and seized 9 fireworks of 49 pieces each. Expanding the investigation, the force searched the residence of Cao Xuan Khiem (born in 1990), residing in Hamlet 3, Tan Son Commune, Quynh Luu District, and seized 2 fireworks.fireworksame kind.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Thanh District Police is temporarily detaining the suspects to continue investigating and expanding the case.
