One of the typical artifacts is the UAZ-469 command vehicle, an all-terrain vehicle produced by the Soviet Union since 1973. With the ability to overcome all terrains and easy to repair, the UAZ-469 was converted to become a mobile transmitter and receiver, installed with a small surveillance radar, effectively serving combat units in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign. Also on display is the ZIL 157 truck, also known as the "ZIL 3-axle". With a special design that allows it to travel in swamps, rivers and streams and the ability to pull trailers carrying up to 7 tons of goods or 30-40 soldiers, the ZIL 157 is the "backbone" of convoys supporting the front lines. It is impossible not to mention the GAZ-66, a multi-purpose information vehicle, produced by the Gorky Plant (GAZ) since 1964. The GAZ-66 has taken on many roles: from transporting wounded soldiers, weapons, goods, to pulling artillery, making an important contribution to the transportation of forces and logistics across Truong Son.
