In 2020, the Covid-19 epidemic situation was complicated; the work of perfecting regulations on functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the center was prolonged... but with the determination of the center's leadership and the efforts of all officers and employees, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism PromotionThe province has overcome difficulties, completed assigned tasks and achieved positive results.

Many conferences were effectively implemented such as "Meeting with Korea", "Meeting with Nghe An - Japan"; Conference "Solutions to promote forest product processing and export in 2021 and the period 2021 - 2025" in the series of events "Vietnam Forestry - 75 years of formation and development"; Participating in the Japan Investment Promotion Conference organized by the Foreign Investment Agency (Ministry of Planning and Investment) in coordination with SMBC Bank (Japan) in Hanoi; Welcoming and working with many delegations of domestic and foreign partners and investors coming to learn and research investment in Nghe An province.

Center for Organizing National Trade Promotion Programs in 2020: North Central Region - Nghe An Industry and Trade Fair 2020; Workshop to find solutions to bring agricultural products to supermarkets; connecting supply and demand to support the consumption of agricultural products; Organizing fairs to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas in Do Luong and Tan Ky districts; Supporting businesses in the province to participate in domestic fairs and units organizing trade promotion programs to send information to Nghe An businesses.

The center has organized many conferences and activities to strengthen cooperation and connection between 4 provinces of the North Central region in Ha Tinh city; Food Festival in Quang Ninh province 2020; VITM International Tourism Fair in Hanoi 2020; Survey and connect tourism with flights connecting Vinh with the Central Highlands provinces in Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces... Renovating the center's website and fanpage to suit new functions and tasks.

In addition, the unit also welcomed and worked with business delegations to learn about investment, thereby advising and supporting investors;Negotiated the plan to sign a consulting contract to implement the project... The Center has chaired and coordinated with units to successfully organize 19 startup and business administration classes for nearly 2,000 students to attend...

The conference approved the draft Report on the results of performing professional tasks and implementing the agency's operating regulations in 2020; deploying tasks in 2021; Report summarizing the emulation movement in 2020 and launching the emulation movement in 2021; electing the People's Inspectorate for the 2021-2023 term.
