Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission: Without public supervision, corruption has the opportunity to arise
(Baonghean.vn) - Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that without training and supervision from the people and the sectors, corruption will have the opportunity to arise.
On the afternoon of December 5, National Assembly deputies including Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province; Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Secretary of Nghia Dan District Party Committee; Mr. Moong Van Tinh - official of Que Phong District Youth Union had a meeting with voters in Nghia Duc commune, Nghia Dan district.

Voter Dang Quang Cuong, Hamlet 3, Nghia Duc Commune, said that petty corruption and the abuse of power and positions are still quite common, causing people's trust to be shaken. Therefore, voters recommend that the National Assembly should have timely and drastic solutions to build trust among the people.
Referring to the issue of supporting agricultural production, voter Ho Van Thuan, Xuan Tien hamlet, Nghia Duc commune said that implementing Decree No. 02/2017/ND-CP dated January 9, 2017 on policies and mechanisms to support agricultural production to restore production in areas affected by natural disasters and epidemics. Specifically, in 2018, Nghia Duc commune as well as a number of districts in the province were affected and suffered great damage from storm No. 4 and floods.
Although the province has a support policy, people have not yet received it. Voters request the National Assembly and relevant agencies to pay attention and consider helping people restore production and stabilize their lives soon.

Also related to the agricultural sector, voter Bach Hung Nam - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Duc commune expressed that in the current period, the agricultural sector also needs to innovate and change towards modernization. However, in some agricultural areas, farmers still produce according to traditional methods, which causes many limitations in productivity, quality and product consumption output.
Voters recommend that the State should pay attention to and attract businesses to invest in the agricultural sector to help farmers have products that meet market demand and promote agricultural development, especially in remote areas.
Also at the conference, voters reflected on many issues related to investment and upgrading of the transportation system; policies for people with meritorious services; regimes to ensure the operation of association organizations; environmental pollution issues...

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac answered a number of voters' recommendations. The delegate clarified issues related to the policy of streamlining the payroll that the Party and the State have been implementing. Regarding the issue of fighting petty corruption, the delegate emphasized that if officials, especially those in positions of power, do not train and are not supervised by the people and the sectors, the risk of corruption will arise. Therefore, all levels, sectors and all people must participate in fighting corruption.

Also at the conference, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission affirmed that the opinions and petitions of voters will be fully conveyed by the National Assembly Delegation to all levels and competent agencies for consideration and resolution.
