Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense received the First Class Labor Medal
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 5, Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense solemnly celebrated the 25th anniversary of the school's tradition (December 6, 1993 - December 6, 2018) and received the First Class Labor Medal.
Attending and sharing the joy with the school were comrades: Colonel, Doctor Tran Ngoc Thanh - Deputy Director of the School Department, General Staff; Major General Ha Tan Tien - Deputy Commander of the Military Region.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of a number of departments, branches, leaders of universities and colleges and many generations of lecturers and staff of the school.

Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense, formerly known as the Employment Promotion Center - Military Region 4. After 25 years of construction and development, the school has changed its name many times and was officially upgraded to a college in 2011. Currently, the school is one of 45 units that the Government has focused on investing in building high-quality vocational schools by 2020.
Over the past 25 years, from a young unit with a small force, lacking and outdated facilities, the School has grown into an educational and training institution with a modern system of facilities and equipment, and a leading training scale in the system of military vocational schools in the Central region.

Currently, the school has more than 12,000 students of 3 primary, intermediate and college levels in 17 majors. Of which, 7 majors are trained according to world, regional and national technology. 100% of the teaching staff meet vocational education standards, more than 40% have master's degrees and many lecturers have studied abroad. Every year, more than 90% of students of technical majors graduate and have jobs in domestic and foreign enterprises.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Ha Tan Tien - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 highly appreciated the efforts of the school over the past 25 years. In particular, in recent years, the school has effectively implemented the transformation of the mechanism from a budget unit to a public service unit model, with financial autonomy under Decree 43 of the Government.

Promoting the results achieved, he hopes that in the coming time, the school will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to diversify training types. Expanding occupations, along with improving the quality of training and consulting, introducing jobs.
In addition, there should be policies to encourage cadres, lecturers, workers, employees and students to participate in initiatives and technical improvements; build advanced models to replicate and create an atmosphere of competition throughout the school. Training must be linked to student management; carry out vocational training activities associated with industrial and high-tech environments.

At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Major General Ha Tan Tien awarded the First Class Labor Medal to the school. Comrade Le Minh Thong also awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 3 groups and 5 individuals for their contributions to the school's construction and development.
