Hoa Sen Kindergarten (Vinh City) celebrates its 40th anniversary

Hoa Sen Kindergarten (Vinh City), officially put into operation in May 1982 (at that time called Hoa Sen Nursery, under the Provincial Committee for the Protection of Mothers and Children). Initially, the nursery had only 10 groups of children with 300 children of nursery age.

With rapid growth in size and number of students enrolled, in 1995, the unit was renamedHoa Sen Kindergarten, under the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An and is the only kindergarten under the Department up to this point.

After 40 years of construction and development, the school was recognized as meeting national standards level II in 2014, and the educational quality assessment reached level 3 in 2017. In addition, the school's staff and teachers are constantly growing with many qualified and above-standard teachers, dedicated to children, sticking to the class and sticking to the school.

Thanks to that, the quality of child care and education at the school is increasingly improved and every year the rate of malnourished children decreases by 3-5% compared to the beginning of the school year, the rate of healthy and well-behaved children reaches 96-98%. From the 2022-2023 school year, the school has been selected by the Department of Education and Training to build an advanced school following the trend of international integration.

For many consecutive years, the school has been the first unit chosen by the Department of Education and Training to pilot educational programs such as innovation in the form of organizing child education from the 2000-2001 school year, the new preschool program from the 2005-2006 school year, building activities according to the model of "Child-centered preschool", "Coordination between family, school and community in caring for and educating preschool children", "Supporting 5-year-old children in the transition from preschool to primary school", applying information technology to child care and education activities.

Not only that, the school also organizes model teaching and model activities for managers and preschool teachers in the province to attend and learn from experience.

With its efforts, the school has received many awards and noble titles awarded by the Party and the State such as the Third Class Labor Medal (1996), Second Class (2001), many Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Labor Federation, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit and Emulation Flags; 20 consecutive years recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as an excellent advanced unit...

To promote the achievements, raise the school's position, and meet the new requirements of the current Preschool Education Program, the Department's leaders require the school to determine the goal of building Hoa Sen Kindergarten into a prestigious school in terms of quality; actively build the school in a friendly, standardized and modernized direction.

To do so, the school needs to continue to build and develop a team that meets the requirements of an advanced kindergarten in line with the trend of international integration; improve the quality and effectiveness of child care, nurturing and education, innovate methods and forms of organizing child education activities, create conditions for each child to have the opportunity to practice thinking development skills, develop children's proactiveness and creativity according to the concept of "Child-centered education".
