Army Officer School 2 presents gratitude houses to policy families in Nghia Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 7, Army Officer School 2, led by Major General Luong Dinh Lanh - Principal of the school, together with local authorities and people, organized the donation of a house of gratitude to Ms. Bui Thi Cuc, Phu Loi hamlet, Nghia Phu commune (Nghia Dan).
Mrs. Bui Thi Cuc is a 4/4 disabled veteran, living alone in a damaged and degraded temporary house. Faced with that situation, the Army Officer School 2 gave Mrs. Cuc's family 80 million VND to build this house.
After more than 2 months of construction, the charity house was completed with a total area of 60 m2.2, including bedroom, living room, kitchen... with the amount of 150 million VND.
On this occasion, Army Officer School 2 and local authorities also gave the family some essential household items.
It is known that, implementing the morality of "Drinking water, remember its source", on this occasion, Army Officer School 2 supported and built 3 gratitude houses for policy families with a total value of 230 million VND./.
