Le Mao Primary School was formerly Le Mao Primary and Secondary School. Since 1989, the school was separated and named Le Mao Primary School, later Le Mao Primary School.
Established in a country and province that had just emerged from the subsidy period, the school faced many difficulties in the beginning, especially in terms of facilities. At that time, the school had 39 classes with nearly 1,500 students but only 24 rooms, most of which were dilapidated, lacked desks and chairs, and had to organize teaching in 3 shifts (morning, noon, afternoon).
