(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of January 26, at Con Cuong Town, the Provincial People's Committee organized an exchange night with the theme "Spring Festival Night of Western Nghe An" in 2019.

Attending the event were comrades: Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Mau Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Luong Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee. On the Con Cuong district side, there were comrades: Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee; Vi Van Son - Chairman of the District People's Committee; along with representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors and 5 districts in Western Nghe An and a large number of local people.

The Western Nghe An Spring Festival is a special program held annually to welcome the new spring in the Western Nghe An region. This year, the festival brings together mass art troupes from 5 districts: Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Tan Ky. In addition, there are the participation of artists and actors from the Nghe An Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe.

In his opening speech, comrade Le Minh Thong affirmed that this is an activity to continue to promote the preservation and promotion of the fine traditional cultural values of the ethnic communities in Western Nghe An.
