(Baonghean.vn) - Every year in the middle of the second lunar month, Dien Chau people and tourists from all over the world go to Cuong Temple to commemorate Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong - the king who contributed to the early days of building and defending the country.
On the night of March 18, Dien Chau district solemnly opened the 2019 Cuong Temple Festival. This year's Cuong Temple Festival program took place from March 17 to 21 with many exciting cultural, spiritual, artistic and sports activities: opening ceremony, procession, sacrifice ceremony, sports competitions, folk games (swinging, cockfighting, lion dance, chess).

Cuong Temple is located on Mo Da Mountain in Dien An Commune, Dien Chau District, worshiping Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong - who succeeded King Hung to lead the Lac Viet people to fight against the Qin and Trieu in the 3rd century BC, and worshiping gods who have contributed to protecting the country and the people. The temple is an ancient architectural work with a massive scale, unique structure, elaborate decoration and was recognized by the State as a Historical - Architectural and Artistic Relic in 1975.
