On the evening of July 17, in Vinh city, the People's Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association to organize the opening ceremony of the International Culinary Culture and Tourism Festival - Nghe An 2019.
Attending the opening ceremony, on behalf of Nghe An province were the comrades:Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council;Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and relevant departments and branches.
Also attending were representatives of the Lao Embassy in Vietnam; travel companies from the Russian Federation; the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association; provinces and cities with exhibition booths; sponsors; chefs, culinary experts and a large number of tourists and people of Vinh city.

The 2019 Nghe An International Culinary and Tourism Culture Festival aims to promote and honor the quintessential culinary values of Nghe An, other provinces and cities in the country and internationally..., serving the needs of people and tourists; contributing to diversifying and enriching Nghe An cultural and tourism events to attract domestic and international tourists.

In his opening speech, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the International Tourism Culinary Culture Festival - Nghe An 2019 is an opportunity to introduce culinary arts, honor and promote the culinary values of Nghe An and other regions in the country as well as internationally; enhance exchanges and promote the art of preparing famous traditional dishes.
At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote the image and affirm the tourism brand of Nghe An - Vietnam as friendly and hospitable.

The International Tourism Culinary Culture Festival - Nghe An 2019 will take place from July 17 to 21.
The 2019 Nghe An International Culinary and Tourism Culture Festival with over 100 booths, brings together more than 20 provinces and cities across the country; cuisines from Laos, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Russia and many localities in the province; businesses, restaurants, hotels, service establishments of Nghe An and famous artisans and chefs across the country participate.
The Festival takes place with many diverse and rich activities such as: processing, promoting typical dishes and displaying, introducing destinations, tourism products, services of Nghe An and other regions in and outside the country; displaying, introducing the value chain of folk and contemporary culinary culture products; judging and awarding prizes for beautiful booths, delicious dishes, and beautiful displays.
In particular, there is a program promoting 50 dishes made from Nghe An eel by 25 famous artisans, culinary experts and professional chefs inside and outside the province.
