Nghe An Police Youth: Returning to the grassroots, reaching out to the people

The shock force made many achievements

In the 2017-2022 term, in the context of the security and order situation in the country and in the province still having many complicated potential factors, the Covid-19 pandemic seriously affected all aspects of socio-economic life and the work of ensuring security and order.

This is the term in which the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police have implemented many key policies, tasks and solutions, from implementing the construction of the organizational apparatus in the direction of "strong province, comprehensive district, grassroots commune"; attacking, suppressing and strictly handling reactionary and opposing organizations and subjects; cleaning up, pacifying and reducing crime in the grassroots areas; implementing major projects on the National Population Database and issuing Citizen Identification Cards... thereby creating a new breakthrough in the work of ensuring security, order and building the People's Public Security force.

In that context and situation, under the direction and guidance of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, under the direct and comprehensive guidance of the Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police, the members and youth of the Provincial Police have closely followed the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Provincial Police Youth Union, term 2017 - 2022, proactively achieved many feats and outstanding achievements, dedicated and contributed worthily to the overall achievements of the Provincial Police, contributing to ensuring good security and order in the area, building the Nghe An Police force to be increasingly clean and strong in all aspects.

Political and ideological education, traditional education, and fostering revolutionary ideals for union members and youth have been comprehensively renewed in both breadth and depth. With dozens of political activities, the campaign has created a great spread, such as:“Young people of Nghe An Police learn and practice Uncle Ho's Six Teachings”, “Young people of Nghe An Police proudly march forward under the Party flag”;TheMovement "Youth of Nghe An Police compete to do one good deed every day, serving the People"… along with hundreds of conferences, seminars, and thematic activities. Through that, we have built a team of union members with strong political will, respect for honor, love for the industry, and profession, ready to go anywhere, do anything when the Fatherland, the People, and the industry need them.

One of the typical examples is that right after the policy of the Ministry of Public Security, the Party Committee, and the leadership of the Provincial Police, nearly 300 union members and young people volunteered to go to the grassroots, to the difficult communes, the remote mountainous areas of Western Nghe An, contributing to the Provincial Police to soon complete the goal of building a regular communal police force. The simple, familiar but also brave and sacrificial uniform continues to be imprinted in the hearts of the people every day, every hour, a clear demonstration of the character of a revolutionary police officer, of a young People's Police officer in the beloved homeland of Uncle Ho.

Propaganda and dissemination of law to students.

The revolutionary action movements of the Union have become the driving force and consistent goal of Nghe An youth in the past term. The movement "Nghe An Public Security Youth Union takes the initiative, volunteers, and makes achievements for the security of the Fatherland" has closely followed and effectively served the political task. Union members of security force units have proactively gone deep, grasped the situation early and firmly from afar, persisted in their goals, and been flexible in their policies, thereby advising and deploying professional measures, smashing plots and intentions to incite sabotage, strictly handling reactionary and opposing subjects, firmly protecting security in special areas, gradually solving the fundamental problems that are the cause of complications, bringing about an increasingly peaceful situation.

The members of the Police force units are the "iron fist" in the attack and strong suppression of all types of crimes. There are more and more examples of people willing to sacrifice their blood and bones in exchange for peace for the people, typically Captain Sam Quoc Nghia who heroically sacrificed himself while arresting drug criminals. In addition, hundreds of members work day and night to return to the grassroots, to the people to vigorously implement the National Population Database Project and issue Citizen Identification Cards. Members of the force building, technical logistics, and medical sectors are the main force in advising and proposing many measures and solutions to improve efficiency, creating breakthroughs in all aspects of work, and are the fulcrum and trust of the entire Nghe An Police force. With those contributions, the Youth Union has contributed to the entire Nghe An Police force to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State, industry, Party committees and authorities, with 7 consecutive years being awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister, this is an achievement that not every period or period can achieve.

In addition to carrying out political tasks, the "Youth Volunteer" and "Creative Youth" movements also made breakthroughs. With nearly 300 projects and tasks, 500 volunteer teams on the spot, the image of young people appearing in remote areas, returning to the grassroots, coming to the people, wholeheartedly serving the people has become familiar in the hearts of Party committees, authorities and all classes of people.

Some models such as: "Living Blood Bank" Club, "Supporting cows for breeding for people in Chau Hoan commune, Quy Chau district" project, "Caring for, supporting and helping 200 children with special difficulties to excel in their studies" are bright spots of the Youth Union in the past term. In particular, in the "dark patches" caused by the epidemic, each member of Nghe An Police is a fortress against the epidemic, becoming a "steel shield" and a "bright spot" as a solid support with the people to overcome the difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic. In competitions, research, exploration and creativity competitions organized by all levels and sectors, the Provincial Police Youth Union has affirmed its position in the entire Union when it is always the unit with the most participating entries and winning the most awards.

The work of building the Youth Union, the Youth Union participating in Party building, and unit building has always been focused on and implemented by all levels of the Youth Union in Nghe An Police in a timely manner, meeting the requirements of the tasks during the period when the entire Police force implemented the Party and State's policy on rearranging and restructuring the organization and apparatus in the People's Police and arranging regular Police at 4 levels.

The coordination between the Provincial Police Youth Union and other Youth Union organizations inside and outside the force, other organizations and unions has been increasingly tightened, contributing to consolidating the quality of the Youth Union organization from the grassroots level, while enhancing the value, significance and influence of youth projects and tasks. The program of training union members according to Uncle Ho's Six Teachings for the period of 2018-2022 has been seriously and closely implemented, thereby continuously improving the quality of union members introduced to the Party, 326 outstanding union members have been honored to be admitted to the Party during the term.

Thanks to the tireless efforts and striving of the Youth Union organizations and Youth Union members of the Provincial Police Department in the past time, most of the targets set at the beginning of the term were exceeded.
