Youth of Mon Son Border Guard Station helps people develop economy
Implementing the 2011 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the Youth Union of Mon Son Border Guard Station was proactive, creative, closely following the situation of the stationed area to organize many effective and practical activities.
Notably, the model was implemented to help people develop their economy: renovating 4 mixed gardens, planting 5 hectares of various vegetables, dredging 3 fish ponds for the Dan Lai people in Tan Son and Cua Rao villages. Moving 5 livestock and poultry barns away from the residential area to ensure environmental hygiene, building 5 new buffalo and cow barns for the people. At the same time, providing guidance on livestock and farming techniques to 163 Dan Lai households. Maintaining and repairing 150m of roads and 1.5km of canals in the fields of Co Phat and Bung villages.

Handing over 3 charity homes to poor women
In August, the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district handed over 3 charity houses to its members, including: Ms. Le Thi Phu, hamlet 6, Quynh Trang mountainous commune; Ms. Ho Thi Trinh, hamlet 6, Quynh Thanh Catholic commune and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuan, hamlet 7, Quynh Hung. Each house is worth over 50 million VND, of which the District Women's Union supported 15 million VND, the Poor People's Fund supported 7 million VND, the rest was supported by members and neighbors.
