Tuong Duong elected Chairman of District People's Committee

Attending the meeting were Mr. Luong Thanh Hai - Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee; Ms. Luc Thi Lien - Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee, Provincial People's Council, and leaders of provincial departments and branches.

The delegates conducted a secret ballot to elect the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 19th term 2016-2021. With 32/32 votes in favor, Mr. Phan Duc Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee was elected as Chairman of the Tuong Duong District People's Committee.

Also at the meeting, the People's Council of Tuong Duong district voted to pass a resolution on the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Van Hai from the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee; Dissolution of the Ethnic Committee, merger of the Ethnic Committee into the Economic - Social Committee of the People's Council; Dismissal of the Head of the Ethnic Committee of the People's Council; Head of the Economic - Social Committee; Deputy Head of the Legal Committee; Election of the Head of the Economic - Social Committee, Deputy Head of the Legal Committee; Election of additional members of the District People's Committee, term 2016 - 2021 for Mr. Luong Van Duy - District Inspector, Kha Van Lap - Head of the Department of Education and Training, Lo Duong Khanh - Head of the Department of Internal Affairs.
