Propaganda and mobilization of Dan Lai people in upstream Khe Khang to the new resettlement area
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 11-12, a working group from Con Cuong district mobilized 35 Dan Lai households living upstream of Khe Khang to move to a new location in the Ba Ha - Ke Tat area (Thach Ngan commune).

The Propaganda and Mobilization Committee organized a meeting and reported on the implementation of the project to build a resettlement area and support the development of production and life for the Dan Lai people in Khe Bung and Co Phat villages; screened the documentary "Changes in the Dan Lai resettlement village". At the same time, discussed and collected opinions from the people, announced the plan, time and method of moving... According to the plan, the District People's Committee will advise the approval of the plan and specific plan for these 35 households to move to a new location in 2018.
As a result, 5 households agreed to move to the new resettlement area; the remaining households promised to continue thinking, discussing and soon have an answer. In the coming time, the District's Propaganda and Mobilization Committee will continue to carry out its tasks, trying to ensure the project's implementation on schedule.

It is known that the propaganda and mobilization plan is part of the Government's Project 280 on Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Dan Lai ethnic group in the core zone of Pu Mat National Park. Currently, the new resettlement area in Ba Ha - Ke Tat area, Thach Ngan commune (Con Cuong) has been built with a planned area of 100 hectares, of which 1.40 hectares of residential land; 95.19 hectares of production land. At the same time, 35 stilt houses and many accompanying auxiliary works have been built.

Infrastructure items such as electricity, roads, schools, stations and auxiliary works, traffic and irrigation systems have been built spaciously, creating conditions for resettled people to feel secure in developing production in their new place of residence.
