U21 Song Lam Nghe An is in a 'difficult' group at the National U21 tournament

On December 15, in Vinh city, Vietnam Football Federation coordinated with Thanh Nien Newspaper, Sports Joint Stock CompanyLam River Nghe An, Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club held the Drawing Ceremony for the Final Round of the 26th National U21 Football Championship 2022 in Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

The National U21 Football Tournament was officially launched in 1997. After 25 years, the tournament has received enthusiastic support from a large audience and the response of football teams. Through the tournament, many young football talents have been discovered and developed to supplement the Olympic team and the Vietnam National team.

This year's National U21 Qualifiers are divided into 4 groups, with 23 participating teams. At the end of the qualifying round, 10 teams were selected, including U21 Hanoi, U21 Viettel, U21 Dong A Thanh Hoa, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, B.Binh Duong, Gia Dinh, Nutifood Football Academy, Dong Thap. These 10 teams, along with the 2 host teams U21 Song Lam Nghe An and U21 Hong Linh Ha Tinh, will compete in the final round.

At the draw, the organizing committee agreed on the drawing principles for the 12 teams participating in the final tournament as follows: There are 3 groups for the final tournament, each group has 4 teams. Groups A and B will compete at Vinh Stadium and the secondary stadium (Nghe An), Group C will compete at Ha Tinh Stadium. Host Song Lam Nghe An is in Group A with the symbol A 1, co-host Ha Tinh is in Group C with the symbol C 1.

According to the principles set forth by the organizing committee and the results of the draw at the ceremony, U21 Song Lam Nghe An is in group A with the teams U21 Hoang Anh Gia Lai, U21 Dong A Thanh Hoa, U21 Da Nang;

Group B includes the teams, U21 B.Binh Duong, U21 Nutifood, U21 Hanoi, U21 Khanh Hoa;

Group C includes U21 Hong Linh Ha Tinh, U21 Viettel, U21 Gia Dinh, U21 Dong Thap.

The opening match of the 2022 National U21 Football Tournament will take place at Vinh Stadium on December 17 between the two teams U21 Song Lam Nghe An and U21 Da Nang./.
