(Baonghean.vn) - After Nghe An Newspaper published a series of articles reflecting on the land used for the project to maintain, preserve and develop orange gardens in Kim Phuc hamlet, Nghi An commune, invested by Nghe An Coffee - Rubber One Member Co., Ltd., which is still in a state of abandonment, on May 25, 2022, Vinh City People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 2575/UBND-TNMT requesting the Provincial People's Committee to reclaim the above land.

The document stated: After examining the issue reflected by Nghe An Newspaper and receiving the report of Nghi An Commune People's Committee, the City People's Committee has the following opinions:

Land with area of 91,354.0m2land (including 1,334.6m2The land located in the high-voltage power line corridor with restricted use in Kim Phuc hamlet, Nghi An commune was leased by the People's Committee of Nghe An province under Decision No. 566/QD-UBND dated December 31, 2010 to Nghe An Vegetable and Fruit Company 19-5 for the purpose of maintaining, preserving and developing orange gardens according to planning and law; the land lease term is until December 13, 2010.

On April 5, 2013, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 59/QD-UBND.DC to reclaim the above-mentioned land and issued Decision No. 60/QD-UBND.DC to lease the land to Nghe An Coffee - Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. to continue implementing the project. Article 3 of Decision No. 60/QD-UBND dated April 5, 2013 of the Provincial People's Committee clearly states: After a period of 12 months from the date of receiving the land handover in the field, if Nghe An Coffee - Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. does not put the allocated land into use or the progress of use is 24 months behind the progress recorded in the project without permission from the competent state agency, the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee will reclaim it according to the provisions of law.

According to the report of Nghi An Commune People's Committee in Report No. 20/UBND-DC dated May 5, 2022, the reflection of Nghe An Newspaper related to the land to implement the project, since the Provincial People's Committee decided to lease the land in 2013 until now, the Investor, Nghe An Coffee - Rubber One Member Co., Ltd., has not contacted Nghi An Commune People's Committee, has not implemented the project, so the land has become wild, people have many petitions and complaints.
