Candidates for the Provincial People's Council and Nam Dan District People's Council met with voters of Kim Lien commune

On the afternoon of May 11, in Kim Lien commune, 5 candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council, constituency No. 23 and 5 candidates for the 21st Nam Dan District People's Council, constituency No. 7 had a meeting with voters of Kim Lien commune to campaign for the election.

The 5 candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council in constituency 23 include: Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Dang Thi Phuong Lan - Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Department of Building Cultural Lifestyle and Family, Department of Culture and Sports; Nguyen Hong Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dan District; Nguyen Ho Tien - Member of the District Party Committee, Chief of Office of the People's Council - People's Committee of Nam Dan District; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The 5 candidates for the 21st term of Nam Dan District People's Council, in constituency No. 7, include: Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee; Nguyen Van Duong - Head of the District Department of Culture and Information; Nguyen Quang Loc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Kim Lien Commune People's Committee; Hoang Thi Lan - Specialist of the District Department of Culture and Information; Tran Thi Lan - Cultural and social civil servant of Kim Lien Commune.

At the conference, candidates for the Provincial People's Council and Nam Dan District People's Council presented their proposed action programs if elected. Accordingly, the candidates will closely connect with voters, spend more time meeting, interacting, listening to their thoughts and feelings, and honestly and accurately reflect all the will, aspirations and recommendations of voters, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people; together with the Provincial People's Council, the District People's Council will effectively perform the function of supervising and deciding on important issues of the province and district.

In line with their positions and areas of responsibility, the candidates said they would focus on directing the successful organization of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, bringing Nghe An to rapid and sustainable development, soon becoming a well-off province, a center for connecting the development of the North Central region. Focus on removing bottlenecks in infrastructure; promoting administrative reform, and strongly improving the investment and business environment.

Develop and innovate the cultural field, build people and cultural families to meet the requirements of integration and development, preserve and promote historical values ​​in the area, and strengthen administrative reform.

In the proposed action program, the candidates for the Provincial People's Council affirmed that they will pay maximum attention and have specific mechanisms to build Nam Dan into a model new rural district in the direction of developing culture associated with tourism, becoming a key tourism development center of the province and the whole country.

In addition, spend a lot of time with the Provincial People's Council and the District People's Council to supervise the protection of the legitimate interests of Nhan in accordance with the law. Actively perform tasks, promote administrative reform, promote internal resources, and mobilize external resources to achieve the goals and targets of the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, soon turn Nam Dan into a model new rural district in 2025, and turn Kim Lien commune into a model new rural commune in 2021.

At the Conference, voters highly agreed with the action programs presented by the candidates, upholding the sense of responsibility towards voters and the people, and at the same time believing that the candidates will be dedicated, devoted, and enthusiastic with the highest responsibility to build the province and the country to develop more and more.

Voter Tran Van Nhuong suggested that if elected, candidates should pay attention to building policies to increase the level of support for those doing Party work at the hamlet level; arrange veterinary officials at the commune level; and build cultural institutions to ensure people's lives.

Voter Hoang Xuan Hoi hopes that candidates will pay attention to requesting competent authorities to have a program to dredge Nam Dan canal; provide irrigation systems for Hung Tien, Xuan Lam, Kim Lien, Nam Cat communes; and pay attention to building infrastructure to serve agricultural production in Kim Lien commune.

Other voters also suggested paying attention to building infrastructure for the school system in Kim Lien commune; strongly improving the investment environment to attract many large projects; paying attention to handling pollution on the Dao River canal; high prices of agricultural materials; handling the environment, electricity infrastructure, clean water...
