Top scorer candidate gets punished for hitting Hung "crossbar"
(Baonghean.vn) - For his act of hitting SLNA's central defender Pham Manh Hung in the match at Vinh Stadium, Hanoi's foreign player Oseni Ganiyu Bolaji has just received a penalty from the VFF disciplinary board.
The incident that resulted in Oseni being penalized happened in the 20th minute of the match at Vinh Stadium. The striker who is currently leading the scoring list of V.League 2018 swung his arm and hit Pham Manh Hung (SLNA) in the face.

Referee Truong Hong Vu was watching the ball from the opposite direction at the time and did not detect Oseni's foul play. Therefore, he did not blow the whistle or give the striker a card.
However, Oseni's actions could not escape the match's videotape and the Hanoi FC striker was still fined. The Hanoi FC striker will not be able to play in the two matches against S. Khanh Hoa (round 11) and Quang Nam (round 12).
This will be a huge loss for the Capital team because Oseni is the best striker in the tournament. After 10 rounds of V.League, the Nigerian striker is leading the list of top scorers with 12 goals.

In addition to the penalty for Oseni, the Disciplinary Board also fined the Lach Tray Stadium organizers and Than Quang Ninh Club 20 million VND each for allowing fans to light flares during the match in round 10.

Decision No. 220/QD-LĐBĐVN:Fine the Organizing Committee of the Hai Phong Football Club match 20,000,000 VND (Twenty million VND) for allowing spectators to light flares in the stadium during the match between Hai Phong Football Club and Than Quang Ninh in the 10th round, on May 30, 2018 at Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong.
- The Organizing Committee of the Hai Phong Football Club match has the right to complain to the Vietnam Football Federation Complaints Resolution Board according to the regulations in the Disciplinary Regulations of the Vietnam Football Federation.
Decision No. 221/QD-LĐBĐVN:Fined Than Quang Ninh Football Club 20,000,000 VND (Twenty million VND) for allowing spectators to light flares in the stadium during the match between Hai Phong Football Club and Than Quang Ninh in the 10th round, on May 30, 2018 at Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong.
- Than Quang Ninh Football Club has the right to appeal to the Vietnam Football Federation's Complaints Resolution Board according to the regulations on discipline of the Vietnam Football Federation.
