Vietnam records no new Covid-19 cases for 48 consecutive hours
(Baonghean.vn)- Vietnam has not recorded any Covid-19 cases for 48 consecutive hours. The total number of cases is currently 268, of which 70 are being treated.
According to the Ministry of Health, as of 6:00 a.m. on April 18, Vietnam recorded no new positive cases of NcoV. The total number of Covid-19 cases in Vietnam is 268, of which: 160 people from abroad account for 59.7%; 108 people infected in the community account for 40.3%.
Total number of close contacts and people entering from epidemic areas being monitored for health (quarantined): 69,045, of whichcentralized isolation at hospital: 324;Centralized quarantine at other facilities: 11,549;Quarantine at home, place of residence: 57,172.
According to the report of the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, tOn April 17, 21 patients were announced to be cured.
70 patients (66 Vietnamese and 04 foreigners) are being treated at 12 medical facilities nationwide.
