Vietnam imports Russian pork
Deliveries from the Russian partner to Vietnam are expected to begin next year.
Maxim Basov, General Director of Rusagro – one of Russia’s largest agricultural corporations – said that the corporation is likely to start selling pork to Vietnam from 2017.

According to Mr. Basov, the group has a license to supply pork to Vietnam. The company is working on an export license. Deliveries to Vietnam may begin next year. However, he did not specify the export volume.
The Rusagro group is among the five largest pork producers in Russia. In 2015, the Rusagro pig farming complex produced 198,000 tons of pork, second only to Miratorg Agricultural Group (384,900 tons of meat), and accounted for 6% of the domestic pork market share.
