Mr. Vuong An Nguyen - Chairman of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union said: Yesterday afternoon (October 4), the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union officials met with the Board of Directors and managers of the workshops of Matrix Vinh Company Limited to discuss adjusting the workers' quota. The final solution proposed was to reduce the quota by 7% - 9% depending on the stage. However, the workers said that such a reduction in quota was still unreasonable.
Previously, at the request of the workers, the Company's Board of Directors committed to increasing the workers' meal allowance from 12,000 VND/meal to 15,000 VND/meal, renovating the toilets, installing additional timekeeping machines...
