Dien Chau sea area ready for election day
(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the characteristics of the sea area, fishermen often fish far from shore, and their time at home is unstable. Therefore, in order to achieve the highest quality in the election of deputies to the 4th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term, Dien Bich and Dien Ngoc communes of Dien Chau district have had many unique ways of doing propaganda work, creating all favorable conditions for voters to access information about the election.
Dien Ngoc is the commune with the most fishermen exploiting seafood at sea with nearly 2,000 people. According to tradition, people often go to sea in 2 groups a day. One group in the late afternoon and return early in the morning, the other group goes to sea at midnight and arrives at the port in the mid-afternoon. However, not being subjective to the actual situation, as well as to ensure the rights and obligations of fishermen on the important day of the country, the Commune Election Committee has continuously promoted propaganda work to each fleet of boats.

The boats that have set sail have been called and directly discussed by officials of the commune People's Committee. Fisherman Cao Van Ba: Said: Although fishing for a long time at sea, the boat will definitely return to shore that day so that the crew can go vote.
