Nam Can border commune (Ky Son) urgently builds houses for poor households
(Baonghean.vn) - In early April, villages in the border commune of Nam Can, Ky Son district are urgently carrying out activities to build houses for poor households in the area.
In Nam Can commune, 17 poor households were supported to build houses under the program to help the poor and those with housing difficulties in Ky Son district from the support of the provincial police and the Ministry of Public Security.

Accordingly, the Party Committee and the government of Nam Can commune have established a Steering Committee, coordinated with Nam Can Border Guard Station, Nam Can Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities and Primary School and Production Team No. 3 of the Economic Group of Military Region 4 to start implementation.
Work items such as transporting raw materials, measuring house foundation dimensions, demolishing temporary houses, leveling the ground, and mixing and pouring concrete for house foundations are being urgently carried out by the forces.

In addition to the value of each house of 50 million VND, the District Fatherland Front Committee called on political organizations and unions in the whole district to contribute an additional day's salary each to have more funds to build the ground, make the foundation, and concrete foundation before building the house. In addition, there is the contribution of human resources and working days to prepare the ground before building the houses according to standards.

From remote villages with difficult and arduous travel such as Nam Khien 1, Nam Khien 2 to Huoi Nhao, Tham Hin... the forces had to transport materials by motorbike but did not mind the difficulties, everywhere was filled with laughter and excitement. Many people were moved when receiving the attention of all levels, sectors and forces who wholeheartedly helped them to have a house to stabilize their lives.
The participating forces are currently working urgently, striving to complete all 17 houses by June 30, 2023, and hand them over to the people for use./.
