(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 26, the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Chinh commune, together with departments, branches, organizations, relatives and comrades of martyr Ngo Xuan Nham and a large number of people in the commune solemnly held a ceremony to receive and bury the martyr's remains.

Martyr Ngo Xuan Nham, born on May 2, 1952, is the only son born into a family with a rich revolutionary tradition in hamlet 3, Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city, Nghe An.

On November 13, 1978, following the sacred call of the Fatherland, young Ngo Xuan Nham enlisted in the Vietnam People's Army, belonging to Unit E7, F310, Military Region 4, then transferred to Front 479 of the Ministry of National Defense, participating in the Cambodian battlefield. Rank Private First Class, position Deputy Squad Leader. On November 16, 1981, while on a mission to fight the enemy on the Cambodian Front, comrade Ngo Xuan Nham heroically sacrificed himself, contributing to the completion of the noble international mission.

Martyr Ngo Xuan Nham was buried by his comrades and local people at Tan Bien Commune Cemetery, Tay Ninh Province. After nearly 42 years, according to his family's wishes, the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Chinh Commune welcomed him back to his homeland and buried him at Vinh City Martyrs Cemetery, so that he could rest in peace close to his family, relatives and comrades.

The reception and burial ceremony was held solemnly and emotionally, expressing the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Chinh commune to the martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed for the independence of the nation. Vow to be absolutely loyal to the Party's ideal goals, determined to compete in labor, production, study, work, continue to contribute to building the homeland and country to become more and more prosperous, worthy of the great sacrifice of the heroic martyrs.
