Pha Danh Commune (Ky Son) weaves brocade for export

(Baonghean) - In Pha Danh Commune (Ky Son), in the early days of winter, the rice on the fields has been neatly stored in the warehouses. On the railings, under the stilt houses, or along the roads of the villages... you can see Thai women diligently spinning thread, weaving colorful brocades. Pha Danh brocade has spread to many places, even to Laos.

The Thai ethnic group in Pha Danh has a long history of weaving brocade. Currently, 5 out of 9 villages here are involved in weaving, including: Keo Luc 1, Keo Luc 2, Keo Luc 3, Pieng Pho and Pieng Hom. In the photo, the women are separating the threads.
