Trang Son Commune (Do Luong) received the Certificate of recognition for meeting advanced new rural standards.
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 8, Trang Son commune (Do Luong) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition for meeting advanced NTM standards. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the provincial NTM Coordination Office and leaders of Do Luong district.

In recent years, cadres and people of Trang Son commune have united and agreed to compete in labor production, economic and social development and achieved many outstanding results.
The People's Committee of the commune has mobilized 32 billion VND to build advanced new rural areas, of which the people contributed more than 10 billion VND. 100% of the roads have been invested in installing lighting systems and solar lights; ensuring good service for the travel and living needs of the people.
The entire irrigation canal system of the commune with 15 km of main canal has been 100% concreted, has 4 pumping stations serving irrigation for 174.75 hectares, has 2 dams with a water volume of about 380,000 m33ensure irrigation for 14 hectares of rice and color land.

The whole commune currently has more than 200 people working abroad and nearly 2,500 workers doing business and trading in the southern provinces, creating a large source of income in the total social income. Thanks to the right economic restructuring, the application of science and technology in production, animal husbandry and diversification of occupations, the average income per capita has continuously increased, reaching 71.96 million VND/person/year in 2022.

In the socio-cultural field, 100% of households have audio-visual equipment, the proportion of households with Internet access is increasing. The village road system has electric lighting, traffic signs and speed bumps. 7/7 hamlets have cultural houses and spacious community activity areas. The rate of cultural families annually reaches 85-95%; 7/7 hamlets have achieved the title of cultural hamlet.
Regarding education, all 3 schools meet national standards, of which the Primary School and Kindergarten meet level 2 standards. The Secondary School is being invested with more than 50 billion VND to build at a new location, striving to put into use at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year and striving to meet level 2 standards in the 2024-2025 school year.

Medical work and primary health care for the people are taken care of, the rate of people participating in health insurance is over 95%. Medical stations are being invested in construction, 100% of households have sanitary facilities. The commune meets national health standards.
Over the past years, the Trang Son Commune Party Committee has been recognized as a strong and clean Party Committee. The Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have been recognized as having fulfilled their tasks well or better every year.
Trang Son is one of the first 5 communes of Do Luong district to be recognized as a commune meeting advanced NTM standards.
At the ceremony, the leaders of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development acknowledged the achievements of the Party Committee, Government and People of Trang Son commune; at the same time, proposed to build Trang Son commune into a model new rural commune. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Do Luong district and the People's Committee of Trang Son commune also awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building advanced new rural areas in 2022.
