At the conference, voters of Nghia Tho commune heard delegate Nguyen Thi Thao inform about the expected time, content and program of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly.

Nghia Tho is a purely agricultural commune with many difficulties, far from the center of Nghia Dan district, with over 85% of ethnic minorities living, the rate of poor and near-poor households accounts for over 17%; the infrastructure system of electricity, roads, schools, and stations is degraded.

Responding to the National Assembly delegates, voters of Nghia Tho commune expressed their excitement at the attention of the Party and State to people in remote areas and ethnic minority areas. At the same time, they hoped that the Party and State would continue to have mechanisms and policies to create conditions for people in ethnic minority and disadvantaged areas to develop their socio-economy.

Among them, the content that many voters reflected was the inadequacy of the traffic system in the commune. The traffic road connecting the center of Nghia Dan district to the commune has been seriously degraded for many years, making it impassable during the rainy season, but no investment has been made to build it. From outside to Nghia Tho commune, one must take the bypass road from Nghia Phu commune.

"People expect the State to soon invest in the main road connecting the district to the commune to create favorable conditions for students to go to school and for people to have conditions for socio-economic development," Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuc, a voter of Cau hamlet, Nghia Tho commune, suggested.

At the same time, voters made recommendations on the issue of clean water. Voter Lo Van Phi, Moi hamlet, Nghia Tho commune, cited: "Nghia Tho commune has 2 hamlets that benefited from the clean water project. However, when put into use, due to inadequate design, they could not be used. Having a source of clean water to use, especially in the dry season, is a very essential need of the people here."

Voter Chu Thi Anh (Nghia Tho Primary School) is concerned about the low admission rate of schools in the pedagogical sector, because students majoring in pedagogy find it difficult to find jobs after graduation, and low salaries make students not interested in pedagogy. Low admission rates at pedagogical schools are a very worrying thing for the future of the education sector. "I request the National Assembly to pay attention to orienting the education sector to ensure the quality of teaching and learning to meet the development requirements of the country," Ms. Anh suggested.

Voters of Nghia Tho commune also made many recommendations related to people's lives such as: Inadequacies in implementing socialization policies in schools; medical ethics issues of health workers; solving jobs for rural workers; supporting localities in building high-tech agricultural production models;...

People in remote areas have difficulty accessing bank loans for economic development; in the countryside, there are many labor export consulting companies but none of them create trust for the people;… The power system is too degraded, especially after the impact of storm No. 2, power poles fall, break, and broken lines are very dangerous to property and human life.
