According to the status inspection report made at 8am this morning, at the time of the inspection, Ms. D's family was digging the foundation for construction.housing constructioncollapsed the wall of Mrs. T's family with a length of 18.8m. At the time of the wall collapse, fortunately there were no human casualties.
Previously, on May 18, 2021, when the foundation of the house was started to be dug, the wall of Ms. T's family also showed signs of subsidence. The two sides also made a record witnessed by the local authorities and the contractor committed to rebuilding the subsided wall within 7 days. Immediately after that, Ms. T's family's wall was also reinforced with steel braces, but the wall collapsed again.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luu, urban civil servant, Ward People's CommitteeHa Huy Tapsaid that the two families have now reached an agreement on compensation for the collapsed wall. The ward will inspect, supervise, and request the construction unit to promptly clean up the collapsed wall that is obstructing people's way.
