Hoversurf's flying car testing process
Hoversurf has just released a test video of the Scorpion-3, the world's first personal flying vehicle (hoverbike). This product can carry passengers and cargo with a maximum weight of 120 kg, reaching a speed of 48 km/h and an altitude of 10 m, Verge reported on February 21.
Scorpion-3 uses the engine and frame design of a quadcopter and the control system of a quad-bike. It can fly continuously for 27 minutes. The test version costs up to 150,000 USD.
Hoversurf said it has equipped the Scorpion-3 with safety mechanisms to limit its maximum speed and altitude, avoiding accidents during operation. The control process is relatively easy, requiring no complex training. The manufacturer hopes that the Scorpion-3 will open up new potential for future transportation.
