On the afternoon of January 3, on National Highway 1A, passing through Quynh Giang Commune (Quynh Luu District), a 4-seat car with license plate 36N 3400 traveling from Vinh to Thanh Hoa suddenly swerved and "flew" into a field, flipping over. The driver was pulled out by people who broke the door and luckily was not injured.

At the same time, a 7-seat car with license plate 37A 25510 had just filled up with gas at Loi bridge and was crossing the road in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district when suddenly an Airblade motorbike with license plate 37N9 5906 traveling in the same direction at high speed crashed straight into it.

The collision sent the male motorcyclist to the hospital in critical condition, with the front of the motorbike crushed.
