Working with the delegation, on the side of Quy Hop district, there was comrade Phan Dinh Dat - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Council; members of the District People's Council's committees; leaders of agricultural and forestry farms located in the area.

After many meetings between the farms, forestry farms, local authorities and people, the province agreed to mark the reclamation of 79 hectares of forest land to be divided among households in Hop Thanh hamlet and 30 hectares of forest land for Bai Ke hamlet to have land for production. Before working with the district, the delegation inspected and grasped the reality in Hop Thanh hamlet, Tam Hop commune and Bai Ke hamlet, Dong Hop commune. These are two particularly difficult hamlets of Quy Hop district, without national grid electricity, people lack land for production leading to land disputes between people and forestry farms.

Next, comrade Hoang Viet Duong and members of the monitoring team inspected the people's reflection of Chau Hong commune on Trung Hai Nghe An Mineral Joint Stock Company exploiting minerals near Provincial Road 532, with an area of ​​2.7 hectares, the exploitation period is 30 years. Of which, about 200 meters along the foot of the western mountain, encroached on the traffic safety corridor and drainage ditch, causing flooding in the fields of Ban Nam Tiu.

On the same afternoon, the delegation had a working session with key leaders of Quy Hop district and related parties on the situation of resolving a number of outstanding and urgent issues in the area such as sand and gravel exploitation on Hieu River; construction stone in Tho Hop, Chau Loc, Lien Hop communes...

According to the district's report: The progress of reviewing and adjusting land use planning, measuring, making cadastral maps, granting land use right certificates and land leases for agricultural and forestry single-member LLCs is still slow.

Land disputes between local authorities and forestry farms have not been resolved. Mineral exploitation and processing enterprises in the upstream areas directly discharge waste into the river and stream environment, causing pollution from Nam Ton River to Dinh River.

Also at the working session, Quy Hop district proposed that the Provincial People's Council consult with provincial departments, branches and sectors to consider allocating revenue from mineral exploitation and mineral exploitation auctions to invest in supporting localities to overcome the consequences caused by mineral exploitation.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, comrade Hoang Viet Duong suggested that the district needs to handle the illegal exploitation of minerals in the area more drastically, must proactively coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to soon provide sand and gravel mines to serve the construction needs of the people; coordinate with farms and forestry farms to solve the problem of land allocation to the people in a timely, fair, and public manner, proactively plan the handover to help people with production.
