Here, there is also a mountain peak.Phu Xai Lai Leng(Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district) locatedat an altitude of more than 2,700m above sea level. In recent years, during cold spells, ice and snow have appeared on this mountain peak.

The continuous cold spells in recent days have caused temperatures in the high mountainous areas of western Nghe An to drop to only 5-7°C.
In addition to implementing measures to prevent cold weather from affecting work, daily life and combat readiness, units under the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard also sent working groups to the stationed areas to guide and help people with measures to prevent and protect people and livestock from the cold.
