Yen Thanh: Cao Son Cao Cac Temple is certified as a provincial historical relic.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 10, the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district and Cong Thanh commune held a ceremony to receive the certificate of provincial historical relic ranking for Cao Son Cao Cac temple and cut the ribbon to inaugurate Long Son Thuy Quoc temple.

Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen The Ky - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Yen Thanh District Party Committee.

Cao Son Cao Cac Temple has a long history.

Cao Son Cao Cac Temple in Cao Son village, Cong Thanh commune is a long-standing cultural and spiritual work, a place to worship the gods who have helped and protected the people. The temple is located at the foot of Tu Va mountain, designed in the "Tam quan" architecture including: Thuong Dien, Ha Dien and Trung Dien, with a system of temple gates and ceremonial gates in the style of the Nguyen Dynasty.

The temple still preserves many valuable artifacts such as Chinese documents and traditional rituals. Every year, during the Spring Festival (from the 9th to the 11th of the third lunar month) and the Dao Vu Festival, local people and many tourists from all over the world hold solemn ceremonies.

With its cultural and historical values, the Temple was recognized as a provincial historical relic by the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 3593/QD-UBND dated August 17, 2015.

On the same day, on the top of Tu Va Mountain, leaders of the Central Propaganda Department and Yen Thanh District cut the ribbon to inaugurate Long Son Thuy Quoc Temple, with an investment value of over 3 billion VND, from socialized capital. This is the place to worship the daughter of the Dragon King who helped people fight drought, bringing a season of warmth and prosperity.
