1,900 Nghe An students attend the festival 'Vietnamese Children - Study well, practice hard'

The program "Vietnamese Children - Study well, practice diligently" was launched by the Central Council of the Young Pioneers. The program aims to build an experiential environment for children to compete in studying, practicing health, developing physical strength and improving skills through learning, playing, entertainment and community activities. From there, it helps children raise awareness, live positively, healthily, with values, know how to love and share, develop their abilities, improve themselves, and promote their right to participate in issues related to children.

In Vinh city, the program was organized with the participation of more than 1,900 students from the following schools: Nguyen Trai Primary School, Ha Huy Tap 2 Primary School, Le Mao Primary School, Trung Do Primary School, Cua Nam 1 Primary School, Nghi Phu 2 Primary School.

The program is a practical activity to welcome the Congresses of the Youth Union at all levels, towards the 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and effectively implement the movement "Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings".

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, comrade Thai Minh Sy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Council of the Young Pioneers of Nghe An province said that since the program "Vietnamese Children - Study well, practice hard" was launched,Nghe An childrenhas contributed 982,523 good deeds accumulated on the program's "Do Good" application.

The Council of the Young Pioneers of Nghe An province also identified this as a key program of the Council of the Young Pioneers of the province to implement Decision No. 1895 dated November 11, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the Program "Strengthening education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, lifestyle and arousing the desire to contribute to youth, teenagers and children in the period 2021-2030".

In Nghe An, the program is also one of the largest digital transformation models in the current activities of the Team, aiming to apply information technology to experiential activities and useful playgrounds to help children have the opportunity to develop their own abilities; creating favorable conditions for children to have fun, practice, and experience reality with the motto "Learn while playing, play while learning".

On this occasion, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers presented 240 tablets to disadvantaged children in the localities; 10 online learning devices worth 35 million VND to children; 2 online learning devices to 2 children in Quy Hop district.

IDP International Dairy Joint Stock Company cooperated with the Central Council of Young Pioneers to present 10 gifts to disadvantaged students who have strived to study well at Nguyen Trai Primary School (Vinh City), each worth 1 million VND. After the opening ceremony, the festival featured exciting performances by children in the final round of the provincial Flashmob dance "Healthy with Kun every day".
