On December 15, District 8 Police, Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Criminal Police Department (PC45, Ho Chi Minh City Police) to investigate and handle the case of two groups of young men using weapons to stab each other, causing the death of Duong Van Khang (27 years old, from Vinh Long). District 8 Police have identified the suspect and are investigating.

The incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. on December 13. According to initial information, at the above time, Nguyen Thanh Phuc (23 years old, residing in Binh Chanh) and a group of friends were sitting drinking coffee at the intersection of Quan Trong Linh - Road No. 2 (Binh Dien Residential Area, Ward 7, District 8, in front of Binh Dien Wholesale Market) when suddenly a group of more than 10 young men rushed in.

The subjects stopped the car, brought machetes and attacked Phuc's group. Because they were at a disadvantage, Phuc's group ran away. Hearing that Phuc's group was being beaten, Khang and 3 others drove a car with weapons to the rescue.

When Khang arrived, the group of young men rushed in, used iron pipes and machetes to block the car and injured Khang. Khang left the car and ran a short distance before collapsing and dying.

After committing the crime, the group quickly left the scene. Initially, District 8 Police determined that the cause of the brawl was a conflict over business territory. These two groups had previously had conflicts and fights.
