20 boxes of oranges "soaked" in pesticides

(Baonghean.vn) - 20 sealed orange boxes without labels, origin and containing pesticide residue exceeding the permissible level.

On May 3, Traffic Police Team 1.7 coordinated with Do Luong District Medical Center and Market Management Team No. 5 to destroy 20 boxes of oranges without labels or origin.

These 20 boxes of oranges were discovered by the working group of Traffic Police Team 1.7 on truck 37C-204.37 driven by Mr. Truong Cong Ha (residing in Trang Son commune, Do Luong district).

The inspection showed that the oranges contained pesticide residue. The driver was fined 4 million VND. All the oranges were destroyed.

On the same day, Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station destroyed 1,360 poultry without quarantine certificates.

These poultry were discovered by Dien Chau Traffic Police Station on passenger car with license plate 81B - 00496 transported by Mr. Phan Thanh Hoai (born 1977, residing in Pleiku city, Gia Lai) on April 30.
