On the afternoon of April 2, the Department of Education and Training held the Closing Ceremony of the Provincial Competition for Excellent Classroom Teachers at High School and Continuing Education Level in 2025.
This is the 4th time the Department of Education and Training has organizedHomeroom Teacher CompetitionProvincial excellent class and the second time organizing the competition for high school and continuing education levels.
This year's Excellent Homeroom Teacher Contest had the participation of 293 teachers from 76 high schools and 11 Continuing Education - Vocational Education Centers across the province.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, this year's contest took place as planned, achieved its goals and requirements, and honored truly capable and dedicated teachers.

In practical lessons, teachers are creative and have appropriate forms and methods in assigning tasks to students, promptly observing and detecting students' difficulties, and organizing students to participate in group activities.
Through the 2 rounds of competition, many lessons were highly appreciated such as the lessons of teachers: Le Thi Van Anh - Herrmann Gmeiner Vinh High School, Doan Thi Huong Ly - Do Luong 2 High School, Nguyen Thi Hao - Nguyen Truong To High School (Vinh City), Phan Phuong Tram - Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Lang Thi Cuong - Ha Huy Tap High School (Vinh City)...

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Vo Van Mai acknowledged and praised the efforts and determination of 292 teachers who tried to prepare carefully to have quality competitions.
At the same time, it is affirmed that the Competition for Excellent Class Teachers is an important professional activity of the Education sector to foster a team of excellent class teachers with solid professional skills.
The contest is an opportunity for teachers to exchange, learn, improve their knowledge, enhance their understanding, skills and abilities to improve the quality of their homeroom work, contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education in schools.

Through the contest, we aim to replicate advanced models, contribute to improving the effectiveness of class activities, organizing educational activities and promoting emulation movements in schools. From there, we will create motivation for the development of education in the whole sector, and at the same time, serve as a basis for assessing the current situation of the homeroom teacher team, meeting the requirements of educational innovation.

Through this contest, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training also requested leaders of high schools and vocational education and continuing education centers to continue to pay more attention to the team of homeroom teachers, contributing to improving the effectiveness of class activities and organizing positive educational activities for students.
In addition, it is necessary to promote emulation movements in schools, build a healthy educational environment, and at the same time, promote the development of local and industry-wide education.

At the end of the contest, the Department of Education and Training recognized 292 teachers as excellent homeroom teachers at the provincial level.
At the Closing Ceremony, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 teachers for their outstanding achievements in the Excellent Classroom Teacher Competition; the Department of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 107 teachers; the Education Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 91 individuals with good achievements in the competition.
