30 police officers put out a fire in a bar in downtown Vinh City.

Evening of October 28,The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) said that the unit had just successfully controlled the fire that broke out at Victor The Pub Bar (address No. 4, Lane 15, Nguyen Van Cu Street, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City).

The fire broke out this evening. Immediately after receiving the information, the police dispatched 1 command vehicle, 2 fire trucks, 1 water tanker with nearly 30 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire in just 20 minutes.

This is a small one-story bar located in a crowded area in the center of Vinh City. The fire area is about 100 square meters. At the time of the fire, the bar was under renovation so it was temporarily closed. The cause was determined to be welding during construction and repair inside the bar. The fire did not cause any human casualties.

In another incident, at around 6 p.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department also received a report of a generator fire in a house in Hamlet 9, Quynh Lien Commune, Hoang Mai Town. The unit then dispatched 2 fire trucks and 16 police officers to the scene, promptly extinguishing the fire, preventing it from spreading to other areas.
