30 minutes, arrested 2 subjects with illegal behavior

According to information from Ky Son District Police, at 11:30 a.m. on August 22, the district police force caught Vi Van Hai (born in 1955) red-handed at his residence in Lan village (Chieu Luu commune) for illegal drug trafficking; confiscated 1.5 grams of heroin.

This subject has "seniority" in illegal drug trafficking, often going to the border area to get goods from some Mong people in Laos to distribute to addicts in Chieu Luu commune and neighboring communes.

Because Hai operated in a sophisticated manner and had a lot of experience in dealing with him, the district police had tried to ambush him many times but failed, and had to temporarily withdraw for a long time to make him lose his vigilance. Recently, upon receiving information that many strangers had continued to gather at Hai's house, the District Police Chief directed that measures must be taken to arrest Hai and strengthen the people's trust.

At the same time, the Criminal - Economic - Drug Team was assigned to develop a plan to fight. After more than two days of persistently following the area, on the morning of August 21, 2018, the working group received information that the subject had just received a large amount of goods from a Mong person in Laos and would distribute them to drug addicts. Realizing that the opportunity was ripe, the working group quickly approached, controlled, and arrested the subject as he was preparing to deliver the goods.

Then, about 30 minutes later, at 12:00 p.m. the same day, in Muong Long 2 village (Muong Long commune), Ky Son district police discovered and arrested Hoang Van Tuan (born in 1992), residing in Hamlet 3, Truong Lam commune (Tinh Gia, Thanh Hoa) for illegally storing explosives; confiscated 7.5 kg of explosives, 04 coils of electric wire, 24 detonators.

It is known that Tuan is a worker of Phu Cuong Quarry Company who was sent to drill and blast rocks in Muong Long Commune. Currently, the District Police have issued a decision to temporarily detain Tuan for investigation.
