4 women in Nghe An were fined for gathering to 'gossip' during social distancing
(Baonghean.vn) - Gathering to "gossip" in public, 4 women in Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district were administratively fined for violating Directive 16.
On the morning of April 11, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Ky commune (Dien Chau) issued 4 decisions to impose administrative fines of 200,000 VND/case for gathering of more than 2 people outside the office or in public places.
The four cases punished include: Ng.Th.H (born in 1970), Ng.Th.T.Ch (born in 1997), Ng.Th.TS (born in 1999) and D.Th.Tr (born in 1995). All are female and reside in Dien Ky commune. All four were discovered gathering and talking in front of a store specializing in selling household appliances in Xuan Khanh village, Dien Ky commune.

The above fine applies to the act of "Failure to implement personal protection measures for people participating in epidemic prevention and control and people at risk of contracting epidemic diseases according to the instructions of health agencies" as prescribed in Point a, Clause 1, Article 11 of Decree 176/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Prime Minister, with a fine of 100,000 - 300,000 VND./.
