5 North Central provinces sign coordination regulations to ensure food safety and hygiene

On the afternoon of January 15, the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene of Nghe An province organized a workshop to exchange experiences in food safety management in Nghe An province in 2021.
Attending the workshop were representatives of the Department of Health, Department of Tourism of Nghe An province; leaders of the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene of Hanoi city, Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri provinces; leaders of the Health Department, Medical Centers of districts, towns and cities in the province.
At the conference, the Food Safety Department of Nghe An province summarized the work of ensuring food safety.food2020 and deploying directions and tasks for 2021.
Accordingly, in 2020, the Department proactively advised the Department of Health to promptly submit to the Provincial People's Committee documents on food safety management in the area; effectively managed 6,210 food service establishments in the province; built many advanced typical models such as the model of "collective kitchens, restaurants in hotels meeting food safety conditions", "supervision to ensure food safetyfood"large gatherings held in the community", "streets/routes with food safety control in Vinh city and Cua Lo town".
