The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2021 is estimated at 6.2%;Of which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector is estimated to increase by 5.59%; the industry and construction sector is estimated to increase by 13.59%; services are estimated to increase by 1.26%; product taxes minus product subsidies are estimated to increase by 6.53%. State budget revenue in 2021 is estimated at VND 17,678 billion 617 million, exceeding the adjusted estimate by 26%.

Collaborateattract investmentAs of November 30, 2021, the province has newly granted 106 projects; adjusted 118 projects; the total newly granted and increased investment capital is 28,072 billion VND, an increase of 41.3% in the number of projects and 2.9 times the registered investment capital compared to the same period in 2020. 2,323 new enterprises were established, an increase of 6.7% over the same period; 799 enterprises registered to resume operations, an increase of 183 enterprises compared to the same period in 2020.

The fields of culture, society and social security continue to receive attention and direction, especially focusing on timely implementation of policies to support workers and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 4 difficulties, existence

Besides the achieved results, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh also frankly pointed out 4 difficulties and shortcomings.

The complicated development of the epidemic has affected most production and business activities; many industries and fields are severely affected, especially the service, trade, tourism, transportation industries, etc. Many businesses have had to operate at a low level, temporarily suspend business, temporarily suspend operations or dissolve.

The progress of some projects, especially compensation and site clearance, is still slow compared to requirements. The disbursement rate of public investment capital is still low, especially foreign capital.

The jobs and lives of a segment of the population are still facing many difficulties. The large number of citizens returning to their localities creates pressure on quarantine control, job creation, and social security.

State management in some areas is still inadequate, deforestation and illegal exploitation of mineral resources still occur. Although administrative reform has been directed strongly, it has not met the set requirements.

Regarding the socio-economic development plan for 2022, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this is an important year, creating a foundation for implementing the 5-year plan goals (2021 - 2025); however, it is forecasted that the implementation of the plan will continue to face many difficulties and challenges, especially the complicated Covid-19 epidemic.

To ensure the successful implementation of key socio-economic targets in 2022, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized 10 main groups of tasks and solutions.

The focus is on effectively implementing a safe and flexible adaptation plan and effectively controlling the epidemic, considering this an important and urgent task of all levels and sectors from the beginning of 2022.

Continue to direct the implementation of the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020-2025; associated with the implementation of Resolution No. 36 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province; at the same time, prepare to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Politburo and study and propose to submit to the Politburo to issue a new resolution in the next phase.
