Help the poor have Tet

Mr. Cut Van Kim's family, Cha Lan village, Huu Lap commune (Ky Son) is the poorest in the village, because both husband and wife are often sick, and during the year they have to sell all their cows and pigs to have money for medicine. Without health and time to work on the fields, the family's economic situation is extremely difficult, and they do not know how to prepare for Tet yet, because they do not have any significant amount of money.

In the same situation, Mr. Lo May On in Noong O village also struggled to find money for medical treatment this year, the crop failed, and there was nothing of value left in the house. "This year's Tet is very difficult for my family, we probably only prepared roughly to celebrate Tet, because the money is gone, now we don't know how to manage" - Mr. On said.

Currently, the commune is propagating and mobilizing cadres, civil servants and public employees to contribute one day's salary, 30,000 VND for retired cadres and 10,000 VND for non-poor households to support the poor to celebrate Tet. Ky Son is one of the poorest districts in the country, with many socio-economic difficulties, and many households are at risk of not having the means to shop and prepare for the Lunar New Year.
