(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 18, at the Hung Dung Ward Martyrs' Cemetery (Vinh City) and Block 3 Martyrs' Cemetery (Hung Nguyen), the Steering Committee 515 of Nghe An province coordinated with the Vinh City Party Committee, Hung Nguyen District and the martyrs' families to collect and send off the remains of 4 martyrs who were Southern cadres who gathered in the North and died in Nghe An province to their homeland.

4 martyrs' remains were brought back to their homelandThis time includes: Martyr Nguyen Dinh Trung, born in 1928, originally from Tam Xuan commune, Tam Ky district, Quang Nam province, enlisted in May 1950, position of Deputy Squad Leader, Inter-zone 5 unit, sacrificed on June 22, 1954;

Martyr Bien Van Thanh, born in 1934, originally from Hoa My Dong commune, Tay Hoa district, Phu Yen province, enlisted in October 1953, held the position of Wood Factory Worker, Vinh city unit, died on May 28, 1966;

Martyr Vo Khi, born in 1930, hometown: Binh Phu commune, Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province; enlisted in 1954, position of Squad Leader, Military Region 5 unit, sacrificed on October 21, 1961, all 3 martyrs were buried at Hung Dung ward cemetery, Vinh city, Nghe An province;

Martyr Ly Xeng, born in 1930, originally from Tinh Bac commune, Son Tinh district, Nghia Binh province, enlisted in 1950; position of Squad Leader of Regiment 108, sacrificed on July 27, 1970, was buried at Block 3 Cemetery, Hung Nguyen town, Nghe An province.

Loading, handing over and sending off themartyrs remainsReturning to the homeland not only fulfills the wishes of the martyrs' families and people, but also shows gratitude, respect, and deep remembrance of the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland, contributing to educating the revolutionary tradition and patriotic tradition for today's young generation.

All four martyrs will be moved by the Standing Committee of the Special Task Force 515 of Nghe An province and handed over to the Steering Committees 515 of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces from July 18 to July 22, 2022.
