Handing over clean water project to Tan Huong village (Tam Quang - Tuong Duong)

Tan Huong village, Tam Quang commune is a poor village, with 58 households of Thai, Tay Poong, Kho Mu ethnic groups, with a poverty rate of 95%. The village's clean water source is in difficulty as the water source under the previous program 135 is damaged, and clean water for daily life is lacking.
The project to overcome polluted water sources and provide sustainable clean water for the Tan Huong community was implemented by Nghe An Forestry Development Consulting Center (representing the sponsor, Unilever Vietnam Fund). The project started from February to April 2014, with the main items: Construction of upstream dam, construction of water and waste settling tanks, construction of water supply pipelines, etc., bringing clean water to supply to 238 people in Tan Huong village.

After receiving the handover of the project, the people of Tan Huong village signed a commitment with the sponsor, Unilever Vietnam Fund, to do a good job of managing, protecting and using the clean water project and protecting the Khe Con watershed forest to create a source of water and provide long-term water.
