(Baonghean.vn) - A house worth nearly 38 million VND built by philanthropists through the Thien Tam Quy Hop group was handed over to the family of Truong Thi Hien, a Tho ethnic minority girl in Dinh hamlet, Tam Hop commune on the afternoon of August 12.

10-year-old Truong Thi Hien suffers from mental illness. Her mother left her when she was 8 months old. Her father is not mentally sound, and she is being taken care of by her aunt, her father's sister. Now 10 years old, Hien has never been to school due to her health. Knowing Hien's pitiful situation, Thien Tam Quy Hop group called for and mobilized support from the hearts of benefactors nationwide, receiving nearly 38 million VND to repair and upgrade the house of more than 42 square meters, install solid iron doors, buy wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, reinstall the electricity and water system and build a new kitchen of 12 square meters.

Previously, Thien Tam Quy Hop group took Hien to Nghe An Mental Hospital for examination to prepare a policy profile for her in the coming time.

This is an activity demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love and support" with practical meaning to help families in difficult circumstances soon stabilize their lives and gradually escape poverty.
