A gang that specializes in using knives and swords to rob property along the Hung Hoa dike in Vinh city

On the morning of September 17, the Criminal Police Department, Nghe An Police announced that the unit had just arrested Tran Van Thanh (born 2004) and Le Bach Sam (born 2005), both residing in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City, for the act of robbery.

Previously, the Criminal Police Department received reports from a number of victims that they were blocked by two young men who used knives and swords to threaten and rob them of their property on the night of September 8. Among them, the person who was robbed the most was Ms. H. (residing in Vinh City). At the time of the robbery, Ms. H. had just finished work and was on her way home when the two subjects blocked her car, put a knife to her neck and demanded that she hand over all her property. The subjects took a Samsung S20 mobile phone and all the cash in her pocket, nearly 1.3 million VND.

After more than a week of investigation and verification, on the night of September 15, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with Nghi Tan Ward Police, Cua Lo Town to arrest two suspects, Tran Van Thanh and Le Bach Sam. The police force also arrested Phan Quoc Trung (born 2002) and Hoang Van Giap (born 1996), both residing in Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town. Both Trung and Giap knew about their friend's criminal behavior but did not report it andconcealing criminals.

Currently, the Criminal Police Department is temporarily detaining the subjects for further investigation.
