Accordingly, at the above time and location, a man was cycling from Thuan Nghia to the People's Committee of Quynh Lam commune, Quynh Luu district. When he reached the above-mentioned level crossing, he was hit by passenger train number SE8 traveling from South to North and thrown into the field, killing him on the spot.
The victim was identified as Mr. Nguyen Van H. (born in 1933), residing in Hamlet 3, Quynh Lam Commune, Quynh Luu District.
Currently, the victim's family has been present to take the victim's body home for burial.
It is known that this residential road location has had many fatal traffic accidents when there was no automatic warning system. After the Railway Department installed automatic warning system, this is the first fatal accident.
